Description
Triumph has unveiled the Rocket 3 R Black and the Rocket 3 GT Triple Black limited edition motorcycles. The two variants are likely to be launched in India in May. Check out what’s new in our report here. Triumph launched the GT variant of the Rocket 3 in India in September 2020. Priced at Rs 18,90,000, the motorcycle is just Rs 40,000 more expensive than the sportier R variant. The Rocket 3 is the most expensive Triumph bike on sale in India. It is powered by a larger 2458cc inline-triple motor that puts out 167PS and a massive 221Nm of torque. It also gets a host of rider aids such as ride-by-wire, four rider modes (Rain, Road, Sport and Rider), cornering ABS, and traction control. The new Rocket 3 also gets a lighter aluminium frame, fully adjustable Showa suspension, Brembo Stylema brake calipers, and Avon Cobra Chrome tyres. Head here for more details on the new Rocket 3. The Rocket 3 competes with the upcoming Ducati Diavel 1260. At its price, you could also check out the BMW R 18 and the upcoming Harley Davidson Fat Boy BS6.
