BMW G 310 R BS6 Price: The newly launched BMW G 310 R BS6 is priced at Rs 2.45 lakh (ex-showroom), which is Rs Rs 54,000 cheaper than the outgoing BS4 model. It's available in three new liveries: Cosmic Black, Polar White and ‘Style Sport’ in Limestone Metallic which will cost you an additional Rs 10,000 over the ex-showroom price of the bike. BMW G 310 R BS6 Features: The BS6 update brings with it a new LED headlight running LED DRLs, LED turn indicators, ride-by-wire throttle, a slipper clutch and adjustable brake and clutch levers. The bike also gets GTT (Glide Through Traffic) which works like a torque-assist allowing the bike to amble around at slow speed by just modulating the clutch. BMW G 310 R BS6 Engine: The G 310 R is powered by a BS6-compliant 313cc, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor which makes 34PS at 9,500rpm and 28Nm at 7,500rpm, the same as before. Its 6-speed transmission now features a slip & assist clutch. BMW G 310 R BS6 Suspension & Brakes: Suspension duties are handled by 41mm upside-down forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. A 300mm disc up front and a 240mm disc at the rear handle braking duties with dual-channel ABS. Its 17-inch alloys are wrapped with Michelin Pilot Street tyres, measuring 110/70 at the front and 150/60 at the rear. With a saddle height of 785 mm, riders of all sizes should be able to get astride the G 310 R and manage it with ease. BMW G 310 R BS6 Rivals: At this price, the BMW G 310 R BS6 locks horns with the KTM 390 Duke and the Honda CB300R. It also rivals the BS6 TVS Apache RR 310 and the Kawasaki Ninja 300.
