Datsun GO Plus The Datsun Go+ facelift was launched in India in October 2018. With the facelift it receives some minor changes to the exteriors as well as interiors, while being mechanically unchanged.

Datsun GO Plus The front fascia has received the most notable changes as part of the midlife update. The front grille is now more pronounced, while the new bumper looks a bit more aggressive than the one on the outgoing model. Also pictured here are black plastic inserts on the front bumper which hold vertically stacked LED DRLs on the T(O) trim.

Datsun GO Plus The 2018 update is just a midlife facelift. As a result, no sheet metal changes have been made to the new Go . Only the front and rear bumpers, alloy wheels, and headlight and taillight assemblies have been changed to give the MPV a fresher look.

Datsun GO Plus The 2018 Datsun Go+ facelift is 3,995mm long, 1,636mm wide and has a height of 1,507mm. It has a wheelbase of 2,450mm and a ground clearance of 180mm. Interestingly, except the length, all other dimensions of the Go+ are exactly the same as the Go hatchback. The MPV is thus, quite literally, a stretched version of the hatchback. The GO+’s kerb weight ranges from 865kg – 882kg, depending on the variants.

Datsun GO Plus The rear bumper is all new and gets boxy character lines on either side. Black plastic inserts help in breaking the visual bulk of the large bumper. The number plate housing is located on the boot lid. Also notice the rear parking sensors, which are offered as standard on all variants of the Go+.

Datsun GO Plus Rear wash and wipe functionality is available only on the range-topping T(O) trim of the new Datsun Go+.

Datsun GO Plus The facelifted Datsun Go+ MPV is being offered in four colour options – Ruby Red, Bronze Grey, Sunstone Brown, Crystal Silver, and Opal White.

Datsun GO Plus B and C pillars are blacked out on all variants of the Datsun Go . The addition of the rear three quarter glass helps make the cabin feel airier.

Datsun GO Plus The updated hexagonal grille is now wider than before. It is surrounded by a chrome border on the T and T(O) variants, while lower trims come with a silver painted bezel instead. The Datsun logo is placed in the centre of the grille. The front number plate is located just below the grille. Also visible here is the cover for the tow hook.

Datsun GO Plus These dual-tone 14-inch diamond cut alloy wheels are available only on the top of the line T(O) trim level. They are shod with 165/70 section tyres. Meanwhile, lower variants get similarly sized tyres on steel rims, while a set of dual-tone full wheel covers are available with the T trim.

Datsun GO Plus Outside door handles are flap-type, which do look a bit dated. They are body coloured on the T and T(O) variants and black on lower trims.

Datsun GO Plus Datsun has made no attempts of hiding the exhaust pipe away from view. It is thus clearly visible when looking at the car from the rear.

Datsun GO Plus The facelifted Go+ comes with a new headlight assembly with rearranged components. Illumination is taken care of by conventional halogen bulbs. The housing gets quite a few chrome elements and reflectors.

Datsun GO Plus Some very minor changes have been made to the tail light assemblies as well. Each unit continues to get a stop lamp, a parking light, a turn indicator, and a reversing lamp. The Go+ badge is placed next to the number plate on the MPV’s boot lid. Also visible here is the key hole for the boot. It sticks out like a sore thumb on an otherwise clean rear profile.

Datsun GO Plus Thanks to its stretched length, the Go offers a three-row seating arrangement and can thus be termed as a 7-seater. The first and second row seats come with integrated neck restraints, while there is no neck support on the last row of seats.

Datsun GO Plus " All variants of the Datsun Go+ come with fabric seat upholstery. The seat-back cushions are extremely thin in order to provide as much kneeroom as possible. However, this does take a toll on long distance comfort. It is important to note that third-row occupants as well as the middle-row occupant only get lap seat belts, while all other occupants are secured with three-point seat belts."

Datsun GO Plus " The new Datsun Go+ MPV comes with dual front airbags (driver and passenger) as standard on all variants. Other standard safety equipment includes anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake force distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), and rear parking sensors. Also visible here is the 7.0-inch capacitive touchscreen infotainment system that is available with the T and T(O) trims. This unit supports Google Map navigation, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and voice recognition, and is attached to a 2-speaker sound system. Supported media inputs include USB, AUX-in and Bluetooth.
