There's quite a lot of equipment on offer in the XUV700. It includes LED headlamps with integrated C-shaped LED DRLs, flush-fitting door handles, 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, shark-fin antenna, and a two-piece LED taillight setup. One can choose from the five colour options, including Dazzling Silver, Red Rage, Everest White, Electric Blue, and Midnight Black.
Inside, the XUV700 flaunts a modern-day-style floating panel integrated with two 10.25-inch screens. The infotainment screen still takes centre stage and is compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. It also comes with the brand's AdrenoX-connected car technology. Other notable features include a 360-degree camera, dual-zone climate control, electronic parking brake, wireless charging, panoramic sunroof, and seven airbags. In the top-spec trims, the XUV700 also boasts Level 2 ADAS, adding to the safety net.

The Mahindra XUV700 is offered with two engine options. There’s a 2.0-litre turbo GDi mStallion petrol engine that produces 195bhp and 380Nm of torque. It can be had with either a six-speed manual or a torque converter automatic transmission.
On the other hand, the diesel engine is a 2.2-litre mHawk unit available in two states of tune. In the MX variant, the turbo-diesel makes 153bhp and 360Nm and comes mated to a six-speed manual gearbox only. In the higher AX variants, the 2.2-litre diesel churns out 182bhp of power and the torque output varies according to the transmission choice. The manual transmission makes 420Nm and the automatic unit produces a higher 450Nm of torque.
